PACTHOUSE PLAYERS Team for NFAR Race for Autism

Here is a photo of PACT’s team for this year’s NFAR Race for Autism!

In our team captain, Katie Anderson’s own words:

During the 2021 National Foundation for Autism Research (NFAR) Race for Autism event, the team for Positive Action Community Theatre (PACT) endeavored to explore San Diego County’s natural beauty and hiked to Annie’s Canyon, which is close to the San Elijo Lagoon. This location allowed for social distancing while also inviting passersby to inquire as to our matching NFAR superhero T-shirts. The circumstances were uniquely useful in building community awareness and acceptance, as the explanation of the NFAR event led to multiple organic discussions resulting from genuine interest. What an unexpected and delightful surprise it was for our team  to help to bring information and inclusion to our local community while participating in the NFAR Race for Autism!
